The Olympic Council of Asia has announced that the Hangzhou Asian Games has been postponed to September 23rd to October 8th, 2023.
At the beginning of May, the General Secretary of the OCA announced that the Hangzhou Asian Games, originally scheduled for September 10-25,2022, had been postponed due to the COVID-19 global pandemic. After discussions with the OCC, HAGOC and other concerned stake holders, a new date was finally confirmed at a meeting on July 19, 2022. The name of the Asian Games will remain as the “19th Asian Games 2022”in Hangzhou.
