The 29^th Southeast Asian Games will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from August 19^th to 31^st, 2017.

Ms. Zhang Yuping, the Technical Committee Chairperson of the Wushu Federation of Asia and the entourage arrived in Kuala Lumpur for the site inspection of the 2017 Southeast Asian Games Wushu Competition, right after the inspection work of the 9^th Asian Junior Wushu Championships in South Korea.

On the morning of March 2^nd, the team arrived for site inspection at the venue, warm-up area, and multi-functional rooms, accompanied by the Mr. Allen Wong Siew Poh, President of the Malaysia Wushu Federation, Dato H’Ng Ban Choon, acting President and Vice-Presidents. Ms. Zhang Yuping made recommendation in regards to the competition venue arrangement, understanding to the equipment preparation and athlete’s hotel and other arrangements.

In the afternoon, the team arrived to the Malaysia Sports Federation meeting with Dato Ahmad Shapawi Bin Ismail, Malaysia Sports Director. The Malaysian government supports the development of Wushu sports, the national team has begun intensive training for the preparatory of the upcoming Southeast Asian Games and Asian Games.

The 29^th Southeast Asian Games will be held on August 19, whereas Wushu competition begins from August 20^th for 2 days. The referee and the team are expected to report on August 17^th and depart on August 23^rd.
